Jerk Boy: the tsar of low slung house and grooves based in Sydney.
Last year, Jerk Boy released a number of singles with Refuge Recordings and his debut EP ‘With You’ on Sweat it Out’s club imprint, Club Sweat along with various remixes. His releases and remixes have charted for months on the Australian ARIA Club chart, Traxsource and Beatport charts along with regular spins domestically on Triple J and also internationally across dance radios.
His music has received support from the heavy hitters of house music including Weiss, Doorly, Jesse Rose, Malente and Daniel Dexter (Claptone), Vanilla Ace, Kyle Watson, Joyce Muniz, Shiba San and many more.
Jerk Boy recently signed a worldwide publishing deal with Cooking Vinyl, home of The Prodigy, Goldie, Groove Armada, Underworld and The Orb.
He’s currently preparing new edits for his vinyl ‘Sosilly Edits,’ the first release of which is due in May, as well as a live show that will feature Roland boutique gear like the TB-03, TR-09, TR-08 and SH-01A.
