Based in Manila, Philippines, Alinep has built up quite a reputation in the underground scene, where he is one of the residents of its well established clubs Time in Manila ,where he has defined a personal twist of sounds during his sets, sharing the decks alongside many iconic DJs such as KiNK, Dubfire, Guti, Nic Fanculli and Nick Warren just to name a few.
Other than being known for his DJing, Alinep has had many releases since 2010 on labels like Maktab Music, Tenampa Recordings, Tanztone Records, Circle Music, Funkfield Recording and Love International as well as Asia Music, a record label based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Manila, Philippines, in which he is A&R Manager.
Alinep is also currently hosting 2 radio shows ‘Manila Underground’ on UB Radio based in Bangkok, Thailand and on Amsterdam’s In Progress Radio called ‘Deepsomnia’.
Having collated some of his favourite tracks together with showcasing his up and coming EP entitled “Get Knotted” on his label Asia Music this coming November, which features a track ‘Sheepshank’ that has landed on the floors of DC10 this summer in Ibiza, he has put a together a deep solitary mix for Electronic Groove.
