Iconic Producer Robert Miles passes away at age 47 (Video)

He’ll be remembered for his legendary ‘Children’ track.

Italian electronic producer Robert Miles has passed away on Monday in his Ibiza home. He was 47 years old. There are no further details regarding his death, early reports cite “an unsuspected illness”.

Miles – real name Robert Concina  was born in Switzerland in 1969, but living most of his life in Italy. During the mid-nineties, he produced the iconic track ‘Children’ which became one of the biggest dance music tracks of all time, hitting No. 1 in over 12 countries around the world. After that Miles continued his music career releasing five different albums and EP’s on DBX Records alongside friend Joe T.Vanelli, and on his own label S:alt. Other renowned singles from him were Fable and One & One.

Today different music personalities from around the world have paid tribute to him, including names like Pete Tong, Boy George and Armin Van Buuren.

During his last years he was living in Ibiza where he was part of the Openlab Radio staff.
