Airrica selects 10 summer tracks ahead of ‘Paradise In The Park’

With an eclectic sound range, Airrica’s forward-thinking DJ sets instill pumping grooves, explosive drums, and abusively cutting bass lines into any crowd. Airrica’s career began in Los Angeles and blossomed in Tulum, where she held a residency at IT Tulum. She has provided direct support for notable artists such as Black Coffee and Themba, as well as sharing the bill with artists such as Peggy Gou, ARTBAT, Damian Lazarus, Luciano, DJ Tennis, and Adriatique to name a few. Airrica has enchanted listeners at some of the world’s top notable venues such as Ushuaia Ibiza, XS Nightclub in Vegas, and Sound Nightclub in LA, as well as highly respected events such as Teksupport and official Coachella parties.

Now, as Airrica gears up for her presentation at Jamie Jones’ ‘Paradise In The Park’ this June 11th, she shares her 10 favorite tracks to get into that Paradise mood.

1. Tiago Walter – I Wanna Be With You

‘The simple vocal paired with this hypnotic bass line, and then that acid comes in… wow, goosebumps every time from this track!’

2. Smokin’ Jo ‎– Tribal Badman

‘This record is such a feel-good groover with that classic vocal, you can’t stop smiling and you can’t stop dancing.’

3. Jamie 3:26 & Cratebug – Hit It n Quit It

‘I swear I could loop this record for 20 minutes. That fierce Loleatta sample piercing through the bassline… recipe for dance floor eruption.’

4. Coloray – Is Love Ever Enough (Rave Mix)

‘Currently listening to Coloray’s ‘Rave Mix’ of ‘Is Love Ever Enough’ over and over. I absolutely love breakbeat, and this track delivers that old-school feel with the Lyn Collins sample yet super powerful, especially when the vocal cuts in at the break.’

5. Axel Boman – Radionova (Essential Mix)

Axel is one of my idols in music production. Haven’t gotten tired of this track since it was released. It makes me feel like I’m in a dreamy, floaty, blissful, 70s sci-fi cartoon.’

6. Red Axes – Rasss

‘Such a funky and psychedelic track, I always love rotating Red Axes in my sets.’

7. James Curd – Taken All This Time feat. Shyam P. (Alan Dixon Love Attack Dub)

‘I love how acidy and bold this track is mixed with those piano chords.’

8. Kassian – Warehouse Discotheque

‘Such a heavy-hitting track with that repeating vocal reminding us the party keeps on going.’

9. Mathias Kaden – Soulmakers feat. Zoe Xenia (Deetron Remix)

‘This track reminds me of summer every time I hear it. So warm and creates a tension that keeps you wanting more.’

10. Sasha feat. Poliça – Out Of Time

‘Probably, one of my all-time favorite records ever… I am a huuuge fan of Poliça. It reminds me of summer as the first time I heard this was on the playa at Burning Man years ago. I became so emotional and searched for it for months! The lyrics are whimsical and buttery. Such a beautiful track to play at just the right moments!’
