Amelie Lens has released her debut album ‘AURA’ through her own EXHALE label.
The 11-track record includes ‘run’ with fellow Belgian artist Angèle, the album’s only featured collaboration. The remaining ten tracks were produced solely by Lens, with titles including ‘our frequency’, ‘4am at RSO’, ‘falling into acid dreams’, ‘the energy is us’, and ‘whatever you do’.
Lens describes the album as a reflection on her relationship with club culture, her audience, and the path from local venues to larger festival stages, alongside becoming a mother and building EXHALE.
“I wanted ‘AURA’ to feel emotional but still powerful, uplifting but raw,” she says.
The album is available digitally and as a gatefold double 12-inch vinyl edition in blue and white.
