Amsterdam Dance Event announces details of its digital conference

The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) will hold its first digital edition in 2020 and it will take place from October 21st to 25th. The first speakers for the ADE Pro virtual conference have already been revealed, along with the announcement of a select number of COVID-proof concerts under the name of ADE Specials, which will take place in Amsterdam.

Some of the early confirmed appearances from the ADE Pro digital conference include Grammy Award-winning artist James Blake in conversation with mental health expert Jennie Morton, and an in-depth workshop on music authorization by Deborah Mannis-Gardner, as well as panel talks and interviews with Bandcamp’s Aly Gillani, VFX specialist Angelo White, VEVO’s Claudia de Wolff, BBC Radio 1’s DJ Jaguar, and music industry entrepreneur Merck Mercuriadis. There will be more ADE Pro announcements coming soon.

A digital pass is now available that will provide access to all ADE Pro conferences, as well as a one-year subscription to their social media platform. It will also include a huge discount for next year’s edition. To purchase the pass, enter here.

As for the ADE Specials, the participation of Bimhuis, Concertgebouw, Melkweg, Paradiso, and Paradiso Noord is already confirmed, and more will be announced soon. Additionally, the organization will provide a free online platform comprised of a variety of digital content including DJ sessions, artist talks, studio tours, master classes, and an arts and film program.
