Audio Obscura steps up for their ADE ’19 edition

Audio Obscura have once again prepared an exciting series of events for Amsterdam Dance Event 2019, taking over some of the city’s most iconic buildings with performances by some of dance music’s greatest names, accompanied by an impressive setup and state-of-the-art sound.

The proceedings start by teaming up with Joris Voorn‘s Spectrum in the Muziekgebouw aan’t IJ on October 17th for an all-night set with special back-to-back guests, alongside a line-up that includes Hot Since 82 and Josh Butler, among others as yet announced.

The same night, in the Amsterdam Central Station, Audio Obscura will present the eclectic and unpredictable style of Motor City Drum Ensemble alongside local DJ Young Marco.

Friday, October 18th will see Len Faki play an all-night-long set in his debut at Audio Obscura, while other names like Blawan, Ellen Allien, Colin Blenders, ROD, Dr. Rubinstein and Henning Bear, plus more to be announced, will be providing a quality musical experience back at the Muziekgebouw aan’t IJ.

At the same venue on the same day, Sudbeat x The Soundgarden will leave their mark at ADE with a sprawling event across four different stages: the Theatre, where Hernan Cattaneo will play a b2b set with Nick Warren all day long; the Bimhuis, with Dmitri Kneppers manning the decks throughout the day; the Deck, hosted by Colourizon, which will be the place to catch Miss Melera’s all day-long session; and the Chapel, where Gustin, Graziano Raffa, Interaxxis, Nicolas Rada, Nick Varon and Marcelo Vasami will share the stage.

Saturday, October 19th, will bring the 10th anniversary of the Audio Obscura-Adriatique partnership, fittingly named ‘X’, to the Muziekgebouw aan’t IJ, including a top-tier lineup made up by Adriatique, Agents of Time, Max Cooper, Red Axes, Roman Flügel, Matthew Dekay, Marino Canal, among others.

Also on the 19th, Amsterdam Central Station will host the joint event between Audio Obscura and Patrick Topping’s label Trick, where the British DJ will play alongside Dublin’s Krytal Klear, Man Power, and Spencer Parker.
