Melbourne-based collective clipp.art just dropped their first various artists compilation entitled ‘Sounds Like a Good Time’.
The 34-track selection includes the label’s original past releases and a few new ones by artists like Monolithic, Zane Schaffer, Tunnel Vision, Banker, Darks, Shouse, Cassettes For Kids, Togar, SjR, Deejay Bloom, Nina and many more. The collection is described as “a deep dive in unvarnished electronica, with journeys into the colorful corners of aquatic disco, dream-state acid, and clanging house, from an array of modern underground and unschooled artists”.
Organizing regular parties at the Australian city the crew has invited some renowned names in the past such as Gerd Janson, Ross From Friends, Bloody Mary, DJ Seinfeld among others, while supporters for their original music include Andrew Weatherall, The Black Madonna, Dusky, Laurent Garnier, Skream, Horse Meat Disco, Jacques Renault and many more.
