Dekmantel’s sister event Lente Kabinet reveals its weekender line up

For the first time, the festival sets up a camp for a two-day party.

Lente Kabinet is the little sister event from the creators of Dekmantel Festival and focuses on avant-garde music and arts program in an open-air environment. Next May 26th and 27th they will celebrate their seventh edition in Het Twiske, Amsterdam.

While last year saw an increased focus on bands and live acts, this edition will continue in that spirit and will also broaden its horizon by inviting over artists such as R&B singer/songwriter Kelela, jazz-funk icon Kamaal Williams and Congolese street-and DIY artists KOKOKO!. Other names that are part of this year’s bill are Motor City Drum Ensemble, Ben UFOYoung MarcoDJ Assault, Peggy Gou, and many more.

On every edition, the arts program has been an important part of the celebration. This time Steven de Peven, Duran Lantink, and Telemagic will be showing their works.

Lente Kabinet Festival Weekender will take place on May 26th and 27th at Het Twiske in Amsterdam.
