DGTL Barcelona reveals its Art & Revolution program

Presenting a new concept to its attendees.

DGTL is preparing its latest edition to be taking place August 10th at Barcelona, Spain. This time they revealed its Art & Revolution program that includes a cutting-edge audiovisual performance and an unprecedented circular food court.

The Dutch festival will be featuring two special expositions. The first one, SKYLINE, created by DGTL’s Boris Acket & Bob Roijen together with contemporary artist Nick Verstand, features a tunnel-like audiovisual performance where carefully placed sequenced lighting is combined with sound stimulus to create a surrounding experience for the user. The artists will face the challenge of adapting this 80-meter-wide per 7-meter-high audiovisual performance to completely different festival grounds, at none place other than the festival’s main entrance.

This audiovisual performance will constitute a suitable complement for the aforementioned and second exhibit, Cluster 2.0, thus strengthening this year’s exploration of the meeting points between space, light, and sound.

This year’s DGTL Barcelona will be featuring artists such as Dixon, Black Coffee, Ben Klock, Adriatique, KiNK, Carl Craig, Cassy, Amelie Lens, Apollonia, Maceo Plex, Hot Since 82, Dj Tennis, Rødhåd, Jamie Jones, among many others.
