EG.595 Valentino Kanzyani

Valentino Kanzyani’s rise to prominence as founding father of the Slovenian Techno scene dates back to the mid 1990s: a highly skillful and acclaimed performer, his fame as resident spinner at Ambasada Gavioli grew larger and larger thanks to his mind altering and impressive 3-decks technique all night long sets. After releasing his first tracks as Recycled Loops, the Eastern Europe turntable virtuoso founded his own vinyl-only label Jesus Loved You, which served as an outlet for his creative outputs and personal projects, staying true to the original format of the DJ.

Valentino’s Ibiza based party Next Wave opened in 2011 as a way to support the less commercial side of club music on the island, and it quickly became one of the most talked about event of the season. From early on, many of the underground Techno and House most respected names played there, with special appearances from big league artists such as Arpiar, Luciano and Ricardo Villalobos.

His list of EPs, albums and collaborations includes a string of successful works on Cadenza Records, Intec and M_nus. His production varies from deep house to tribal techno, he has remixed a lot of artist during his career, among them Carl Cox, John Acquaviva, Paul Woolford, Ken Ishi, Natan Fake, Shlomi Aber, Wally Lopez, Chus & Penn, Mark Ambrose, Felipe Valenzuela & Dani Casarano, Vinyl Speed Adjust and more.
