EG SPOTLIGHT.064 Kamorah

Rising producer Kamorah is an exciting new name out of Ireland’s capital Dublin. Diffusing a delectable continental-flavoured deep minimal sound, he’s a steady presence in the city’s underground. His debut release on New Violence shot him onto the radar of many top talents, hitting the top of the minimal charts. He’s also been a regularly fixture at the likes of powerhouse venue District 8 and renowned Dublin hotspot Pygmalion. He delivers a killer new mix today and share 5 of his top hangouts from his home city.

EG: What’s your go-to destination when you’ll looking for some nice food?

Kamorah: I enjoy a good burger, Bunsen burger in Dublin City centre is my favourite place for some food.. You’re missing out if you haven’t been!

EG: Three most-underrated hangouts for a pint?

Kamorah: The Long Hall in the Strawberry beds, my local pub – The Halfway House or The Back Page in Phibsborough won’t disappoint if you’re looking to mix it up with a few craft beers!

EG: You’re in the mood for listening to good music, what’s the spot you hit?

Kamorah: It really depends on what gigs are on and where, I often wander into Pygmalion to see what’s happening or if I have any mates playing i’ll head along to that.. My pals run a night called Patterns, always good vibes when they throw a party.

EG: When you have friends over to visit, what’s the first tourist attraction you show them?

Kamorah: I’m a big fan of Gaelic Football so it would have to be Croke Park where most big matches are held. Sunny day and a few pints, can’t beat it..

EG: Finally, a hidden gem from Dublin that you think everybody should know about?

Kamorah: Dalymount park, home of the famous Bohs FC!
