“After an intense summer of heavy touring and long nights in the studio, I wanted to put together a mix that sums up what this summer has sounded like for me.” – Nandu

Copenhagen-based artist Nandu steps into the EG Podcast series with a session shaped by a summer spent moving between clubs, festivals, and the studio.

Over the years, Nandu has built a body of work defined by curiosity and a strong sense of independence. Releases through Innervisions and Afterlife helped introduce his music to a wider audience, while appearances across the Secret Weapons and Unity compilations placed him firmly within a new generation of melodic electronic artists. His catalog has since expanded through a steady flow of solo work and collaborations, alongside his own Out Of Options imprint.

Founded in 2021, Out Of Options gave Nandu a space to follow ideas without forcing them into a fixed format. That freedom has become central to his work, moving between club-focused productions, slower grooves, and vocal material while retaining a character that remains distinctly his own.

His latest chapter includes ‘My Only Crime,’ a collaboration with Bedouin featuring Ali Love and Karl Williams, released on Human By Default. Built around a deep, rolling groove and shadowy vocals, the track brings their individual approaches together with restraint, allowing each artist to leave a clear imprint on the record.

The release arrives during a productive period for Nandu, one shaped by extensive touring, long studio sessions, and a continuing exchange between the music he makes and the rooms in which he plays it. EG.1088 captures a snapshot of that period, bringing together his own productions, collaborations, unreleased material, and selections from artists around him.
