Faithless announces new album, shares ‘Synthesizer’ video

It will be their first album in 10 years.

‘All Blessed’ is the name of Faithless’ new album, which will be released on October 23rd via BMG. To celebrate the news, Faithless recently released ‘Synthesizer’, the first single from this album, whose plot was inspired by the movie Metropolis.

In this turbulent world, the record tries to lyrically reflect the importance of being conscious, caring, and loving ourselves in order to love others. ‘This is music with feeling and words with meaning’, says the artist’s press release.

The ‘Synthesizer’ video was directed by Strangeloop and produced by [namethemachine]. It was set in a dystopian futuristic world, in which skyscrapers are made up of towers of speakers and synthesizers. The piece depicts an army of robotic workers whose brains are connected by bright, pulsing wires to feed their queen … and the ending is unexpected.
