Fur Coat announces new album ‘Polyphony’, shares first single

The first cut is now available.

Fur Coat has just revealed their upcoming album ‘Polyphony’, to be released via Renaissance on the next October. The duo has also presented the first cut included, titled ‘Hurricane’, which features Running Pine on vocals, who first rose to prominence last year on Mind Against’s ‘Trust My Eyes’.

The original version sees the Venezuelan duo setting sails for uncharted territory, as they explore new sounds. According to them, ‘There’s a more indie, electronic vibe to ‘Hurricane’. Because it’s from the upcoming album we had the scope to experiment more’.

The release also features a ‘Club Mix’, where Fur Coat showcases their characteristic melodic techno sound. For the last ride,  the label includes a remix of Tim Green, who taps into that ethereal sound that has taken him to labels like Sebastian Leger’s Lost Miracle and Lee Burridge’s All Day I Dream.

Fur Coat’s ‘Hurricane’ is now available on Renaissance. Listen below and grab your copy here.
