Graziano Raffa shares 10 Sudbeat tracks ahead of ADE ’19

A variegated background consisting of the union of styles and different sounds, where the common thread is the true, unconditional and consistent passion towards music. This is the foundation of the artistic career of Graziano Raffa, an Italian DJ and Producer who, like many, started to get in touch with the world of dance music as a clubber.

Today Graziano shares 10 of his favorite Sudbeat tracks ahead of this year’s ADE edition of The Soundgarden x Sudbeat where he will play alongside Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Dimitri, Miss Melera, Marcelo Vasami, Nick Varon, Gustin, and Interaxxis. Get your tickets here!

01. Hernan Cattaneo & Soundexile – Japanese Snowbell (Guy J Remix)

“Monumental remix by Guy J who pushed an already great track to the next level and back. It’s very hard to make music that it’s both powerful and elegant at the same time and I’m not probably the only one thinking that Guy is a real boss in achieving this goal.”

02. D-Nox & Beckers – Last Call (Original Mix)

“I always played Chris and Frank’s productions in my sets as they blend many genres in one in a very clean way being very helpful in many situations! Last Call is a proof of that, it’s a melodic belter with energy and character! It’s one of those track that you listen on the dance floor and immediately grab your phone to turn on Shazam!”

03. Simon Vurambon – Pandora (Original Mix)

“I couldn’t say how many times I played Pandora because they were so many!! Simon created an incredible bassline, energetic and catchy, and, if that wasn’t enough, shown all his skills adding a beautiful melodic breakdown that took the track to the next level.”

04. Memory – Surrender (Original Mix)

“The perfect choice for a DJ when it’s time to put a signature on a mix. Thanks to Kevin Di Serna I have got this beauty from Memory and it was love at first listening! I remember playing it as last tune in Amsterdam on the beach at the legendary Woodstock69 in an unusually hot and sunny afternoon, and, during the magic breakdown, feeling completely connected with the sea, the birds, the people…pure love!”

05. Alex O’Rion – Spitfire (Original Mix)

“Alex is one hell of a producer! We tried pushing his music a lot since his first contact with us and I’m really pleased to be able now to work with him and help to show his talent trough Sudbeat! His music is incredibly well made and Spitfire is one clear example.”

06. Hernan Cattaneo & Soundexile – Cripsis (Night Mix)

“Although there are many tracks from Hernan, Paul and Oli that I love, I have a special relationship with Cripsis! When I listen to it I can figure the energy of Buenos Aires highways, the colours of the busses and the energy of Argentina’s progressive legacy.”

07. Luke Porter – Opiate (Kassey Voorn Vintage Interpretation)

“I remember buying this track on Beatport when it was released back in 2011. I still play it sometimes in very special settings, and I think I will forever. The emotional peak is unbelievable, mix it at sunrise and the game will be over.”

08. Sebastien Leger – Lovestar (Original Mix)

“Since the first play, I fell in love with this tune! It has a melancholic happiness that makes it very versatile in a djset. Something usual when Seb is involved.”

09. Hubert Gomez – Death Lurks (Petar Dundov Remix)

“I have been a huge fan of Petar Dundov since my first years of love with electronic music. His arpeggios are always incredible, he’s developed his own sound and it’s very easy to recognize his tracks in a mix. It’s been a big pleasure to contact him a few years later to propose the remix of Death Lurks. And much bigger pleasure when I listened to the bomb he delivered some weeks after.”

10. Guy Mantzur – This is Mayhem (Original Mix)

“It wouldn’t have been possible to make this chart, not including something from Guy’s beautiful LP ‘Moments’! This track was probably the one from the album that I used the most in my sets all over the years. It might not have the impact of other hits included in this project but for dark clubs, it’s a real deal.”

BONUS TRACK

11. Hakimonu – Sea Saw & A Sheep (Original Mix)

“This is, in my opinion, a true masterpiece by Hakimonu. It goes someway far from the usual 4/4 beats and typical structures of dance music, so I included it “off chart” as a bonus. It has very intense strings and epic drums that take us on a neverending crescendo able to reach the deepest side of our souls. I have closed parties with this and it’s always been incredible.”
