T Bag Records is on the hunt for a new space due to its current building being sold. Hoping to be up and running by Art Basel, but rising Miami rents has the record store asking the community, friends, and family for help through their GoFundMe page.
‘A multitude of you know we have tirelessly worked numerous years for our dream to open a record store to share music with you all. The universe gifted us the opportunity this year in April to open our shop in Miami. We’ve just been notified the space we were in has been sold and we need to find another space asap.
We wish to continue the opportunity to open a new store soon to be able to share music with you. With that being said we are calling on our tribe. This news has come with haste so we are humbly asking our friends, family, and people who have experienced our shop and what we do, for assistance during this time to be able to open another store front again. No donation is too small.’ can be read on a statement on their GoFundMe page by owners Taimur and Ostara.
