Jeff Mills receives France’s Order of Arts and Letters condecoration

Joining an exclusive group with Jean-Michel Jarre, Daft Punk and Laurent Garnier.

Techno legend Jeff Mills was honored on past Friday with the French Order of Arts and Letters at a private ceremony in Paris. This is the second-highest honor that an artist can receive for enriching the country’s culture.

The medal was given by France’s Ex-Minister Jack Lang and distinguish people from their creations in the artistic field, or for their contribution to the arts and letters in France and over the World.

The 53 years old artist showed his gratitude on his speech and joins a selected group of personalities that also received this award, including some names like Pharrell Williams, Elton John and Tim Burton.
