Renaissance invites Julian Wassermann for his latest EP

One of the songs is a collaboration with pianist Enzo Lange.

Munich producer and DJ Julian Wassermann shared a four-track EP called ‘Komet’, which was released through Renaissance on November 6th.

‘It all started with the title track on the EP, ‘Komet’. I recorded this idea at the beginning of the year so I was able to test it out on my last shows before the lockdown. I have never had such a good audience receptivity to an unreleased song, it was amazing! So I had the idea to record a special album around the track. After 4 weeks, I had 11 different tracks. One of them was an exciting collaboration with Enzo Lange, a professional pianist. A mutual friend introduced us to each other; we immediately clicked and planned a studio session’, said Julian Wassermann.

After the album was finished, the artist made the decision to take the 4 best songs from the album and release them as an EP, which is also why each track is stylistically different: techno, melodic house, break, and deep house are all represented. ‘I am very happy with this decision and I am proud and excited to share a project with such a diverse scope’, added Wassermann.
