Kraak & Smaak have released ‘Velvet Seas Remixed’ via Boogie Angst, revisiting their 2025 album through a 12-track collection of remixes, edits, and extended versions.
The project brings together Yuksek, Diogo Strausz, Anoraak, Ray Mang, Harvey Sutherland, Stirmouth, and Sound Support, with each producer taking a different approach to material from ‘Velvet Seas’.
Yuksek turns ‘Nothing Is Forever’ toward French touch and Italo disco, while Diogo Strausz brings Brazilian disco-funk influences to ‘Travel Light’. Ray Mang stretches the title track into a percussion-driven, dubby disco arrangement, while Harvey Sutherland strips ‘Real Love’ into a tighter and more hypnotic club version.
Anoraak and Stirmouth each reinterpret ‘Heat’, while Sound Support also takes on ‘Travel Light’. The release is available digitally and as a limited picture-disc vinyl.
