New Delhi-based DJ and producer Aroma (IND) has just shared his latest sonic outing with the release of his ‘Furuha’ EP. The new drop features two remixes, courtesy of Greg Ochman and Shunus, and is already available to stream and purchase across all major digital platforms via Dialtone Records.

Showcasing three new original cuts, ‘Furuha’ stands as a “self-created variation of the Swahili word “Furaha”, which means joy and happiness”, and finds Aroma (IND) dealing with the daily struggle to feel content in the modern age.

“This idea came to me last year at a time when I was not in a very good head space and was feeling extremely lost and anxious. I was trying to find happiness on a daily basis and it was quite a struggle to feel content. Sometimes we have situations in life that test our patience and for me last year was that time. While I was in a confused head space and searching for clarity, I randomly started playing the keys one day. It was just a casual jam and I was trying to pin down my feelings on the keyboard when this melody came to my head. I immediately recorded it and started to experiment on it, to my surprise it was a reflection of the pain I was feeling, but it sounded like a very happy melody. I knew then that this was going to be the main base for my track.” explains Aroma (IND) about the new drop.
