MALUM continues its remix trilogy with the ‘Bouncer’ EP, revisiting material from the band’s debut album ‘every body’ through contributions from Perc and Mr. Ho.
The series sees MALUM invite each remixer to select the track that connected with them most, with the three resulting EPs moving across cosmic disco, Balearic house, industrial techno, and underground club music.
On ‘Bouncer’, London producer and Perc Trax founder Perc transforms ‘bouncer’ into an industrial techno cut. Hong Kong’s Mr. Ho rebuilds ‘jeweltrain’ around a percussive and hypnotic club framework, while the release also includes the original version of ‘launchbox’.
Across the wider trilogy, MALUM connects ‘every body’ with artists and scenes spanning Bergen, Oslo, London, Berlin, and Hong Kong.
