Ralph Lawson releases ‘Lost in the Storm’ with quality remixes (Stream)

Barem, Hector Couto and Shaun Reeves are on the remix duties.

2020 Vision head Ralph Lawson just dropped a new single entitled ‘Lost the Storm’. The brand-new cut follows the artist inspiration to explore Dub sounds. Lawson who is best known for his work as a house music DJ grew up with a love of Dub music, regularly attending the legendary Dub Club in London to listen to the Jah Shaka, Aba Shant-I and Manasseh Soundsystems. He started collecting records from Dub Vendor by King TubbyScientist and Mad Professor long before house music caught his attention.

‘Lost in the Storm’ production method involved a series of  original gear used by the Dub greats, including a 1970’s spring reverb and Echoplex delay units. The result is a 10 minutes journey  through the heart of a storm loaded with effects and machine drums. The track is already supported by the likes of Seth Troxler, Jamie Jones and Dj Harvey. Listen to the premiere below.

We have five different renowned artists remixing the original version, giving their own interpretation to Lawson’s track. The list includes Hector CoutoBarem,  Shaun ReevesFernando and Rui-Z.

‘Lost in the Storm’ is already available on 2020 Vision Recordings and you can listen to the remixes below.
