Devices include a beat machine, synthesizer & vocoder.

Roland has just unveiled their brand new AIRA Compact series, a new line of music-dedicated gear that fits in the palm of your hand and is battery-powered. The AIRA Compact series includes three new devices, including the T-8 Beat Machine, their J-6 Chord Synthesizer, and the E-4 Voice Tweaker.

The T-8 Beat Machine features six rhythm tracks with sounds from the influential TR-808, TR-909, and TR-606 drum machines, a bass track with sawtooth/square waveforms, and hands-on controls derived from the TB-303 Bass Line.

For its part, Roland’s J-6 Chord Synthesizer is a portable song creation machine with professional Roland sound and features, including 100 chord sets spanning classic and contemporary music genres, the capability of adding arpeggios and rhythmic phrases to chords via nine styles with 12 variations in each, and a programmable chord sequencer with 64 user patterns and up to 64 steps in each, among others.

Meanwhile, the E-4 Voice Tweaker instantly shapes the sound with pitch and formant sliders, and features advanced vocal effects including Auto Pitch, harmony, and vocoder.
