Bertt – Love Big – MIOAZ Released

MIOAZ founder Bertt returns with ‘Love Big’, a warm, uplifting house cut that brings together the widescreen atmosphere of progressive house with the immediacy of classic piano house.

The project of MIOAZ founder Adrian Beretta, Bertt sits at the heart of the London collective and label, and ‘Love Big’ reflects the breadth of music that has shaped it. Building through sweeping synths, rolling percussion and bright, old-school piano lines, the track has a nostalgic streak running through its more contemporary progressive production, gradually opening into something bigger and more euphoric as it develops.

MIOAZ itself was created around a fairly simple idea: good dance music shouldn’t need to sit neatly within one scene or sound. Across its releases and parties, the label has drawn from progressive, melodic and deeper shades of house, while putting emerging artists alongside more established names and building a community around the music rather than a rigid genre identity.

That approach comes together on 26 September, when MIOAZ celebrates its first birthday at 93 Feet East on Brick Lane. Bertt joins Braxton and Trilucid, alongside DJ Search winners Camilla Sadaghna and Claudia O, for a full-day party marking the label’s first year and the growing network of artists and DJs around it.
