Omari and Le Modo join forces for their Rebellion debut with ‘Pressure Loop’, a hypnotic two-track EP landing on October 2nd, 2026.
Damian Lazarus’ Rebellion imprint continues to spotlight the scene’s emerging talent, this time bringing together Manchester’s Omari and Dutch DJ/producer Le Modo. Their collaborative debut finds the pair combining their respective influences and rhythmic sensibilities across two dancefloor-focused productions.
The title track, ‘Pressure Loop’, is driven by a hypnotic Shepard tone that steadily builds tension, while intricate layers of percussion lock into a tightly wound, propulsive groove. On the flip, ‘That’s Right’ delivers a punchy rolling rhythm guided by captivating vocals recounting the night’s exploits. Playful yet loaded with attitude, its infectious groove and energy make it a powerful club-focused counterpart.
“This EP is the first of many collaborations between myself and Le Modo, a partnership that has helped push our sonic boundaries and creative energy. To have the opportunity to showcase this on such a legendary label as Rebellion is something very special, and to have the support from Damian Lazarus … is an honour.” – Omari
Drawing heavily on garage, hip-hop, and disco, Omari’s productions have appeared on labels including neXup recz, Mood Child, ILLUSTRATE, Front Left Recordings, and his own Ouroneo, combining tight, rolling percussion with weighty basslines and infectious vocal hooks.
Hailing from the Netherlands, Le Modo brings his Detroit-influenced sound and deeply rhythmic sensibilities to the collaboration, complementing Omari’s UK-rooted approach for a meeting of styles that feels at home on Crosstown Rebels’ sister imprint.
Omari & Le Modo’s ‘Pressure Loop’ EP drops via Rebellion on October 2nd, 2026.
