‘Shifting Tones’ gears up for their first installment

Miami’s latest musical experience ‘Shifting Tones’ is bringing Chicago House legend Roy Davis Jr. for their debut.

The artist who grew up in Chicago was turned on to the genre at an early age by the likes of Lil’ Louis, DJ Pierre, Farley Keith & Marshall Jefferson. He began his own production company named Phuture in the late 80’s and besides running his own label and having worked as A&R for scout for the famous Strictly Ryhtm NYC label, Davis has produced many tracks that have been chart hits worldwide and has been an internationally touring DJ for many years representing the Chicago House movement.

The artist will make landfall in Miami on July 19th for an exclusive presentation at ‘Shifting Tones’ debut, which has a concept based on the variations of rhythms, intensities, and emotions creating singular musical experiences. The event will be held at an unannounced location near Wynwood area boasting with an outdoor dancefloor and including a Funktion-One sound system.

Warming up will be Tone-Shifters, Atomyard, Fabrizio Zerlini, and Miranda. The event will go for extended hours.
