After the amazing time we had with the El Tony crew in July, we were happy to return for another edition of their Selected Session series. Each event is held in a unique location, such as the tattoo shop at the previous one, and this time at the Skate Cafe in the north of Amsterdam.

El Tony is an all-natural energy drink, so they are aligning their brand with not only music but also sports, so the Skate Cafe was a perfect fit. The party began at 8 pm, a very reasonable time for a Thursday night party.
The El Tony Selected Sessions are great, curating a line-up of locals to kick off the party, this time starting with Elise followed by the rising Amsterdam duo Emvae & Moxes, who played a funky blend of house music including classics like the guaranteed crowd-pleaser by Inner City – ‘Good Life’. While the DJs played, it was fun to watch the skateboarders take their turns swooshing past on the half-pipe skate area that surrounded the DJ booth.
Alongside the music, they had skateboards that you could get creative designing with colourful markers and El Tony stickers, which was a fun way to incorporate the skate culture into the party. The venue was packed early on, and the bar was busy with people getting their favorite cocktail, the Turbo with vodka or a Spritz with Aperol. Safe to say a lot of Tonys were drunk that night!
Finally, it was time for the guest star of the night, Seth Troxler, to begin his two-hour set from 11 pm. He brought the vibe with a wide selection of house music, including classics like Michael Gray’s ‘The Weekend’ to Mylo’s ‘Drop the Pressure,’ which had the crowd jumping. The party was meant to end at 1 am, but no one wanted to go home, and Troxler wanted to continue, so we got an extra 30 minutes plus two encores, including the beautiful Westbam & Nena’s ‘Oldschool Baby (Piano Mix)’. It was such a fun night with a very fun crowd! The best thing about the El Tony parties aside from the music is the friendly vibe from the team and everyone on the dance floor. You leave with a smile on your face, and that’s what it’s all about!
If you want to relive the fun or watch the recording, there will be two sessions released on their YouTube channel. Check out the El Tony Selected Session on September 28th, 2026 at the following times: 18:30 – Emvae & Moxes and 20:30 – Seth Troxler.
