The Mayan Warrior stops in Los Angeles

This will be their last dance before their Burning Man showcase.

The Mayan Warrior is one of the most important collectives that gathers every year at Burning Man. Now, a few weeks before this year’s edition they stop at Los Angeles for a full art-car debut.

Lead by Rebolledo and Damian Romero, the project is the result of a collaboration that has united artists, craftsmen, photographers, designers, technologists, architects and musicians from Mexico City and Northern California.

In this special occasion, they partner with Stranger Than collective to bring their magic to the Angels’ city. The event will take place at the Grand Park on August 4th, starting at 4:00 pm. All proceeds will go towards funding the art car’s journey from Mexico City to Black Rock desert and Create Now, a foundation that helps youths to find their voices through arts, mentoring and education.
