Filizola shares 10 favorite tracks

Filizola describes his style as a fusion of the time he spent on different genres such as electronic, rock, jazz, and blues, a set of influences that generate his own sound.

Exploring his extensive variety of musical influences, the Mexican artist comes from a successful 2019 where he reached the #26 position on Beatport’s Nu-Disco/Disco charts with his EP ‘Feel Me All Night’ that features the elegant vocals of Roberta Howett, staying on them during 4 months. Today the artist shares 10 of his favorite songs of the moment, including some of his own productions.

1. Filizola Feat Micca Mont – Devil (Original Mix)

“I really enjoy the break of this track. It’s already giving the choir a second air again.”

2. Alex Galvan, Filizola Feat Robert Howett – Da Beat (Midnight Mix)

“The original sounds very good, but this midnight mix is my favorite with that classic house touch, definitely a super dancer.”

3. Dangerous Dan, Nicky Night Time, Rhonda INTL. – A History Feat. Julian Mitchell (Original Mix)

“This is a track that lately I can’t miss in my sets, since with a quality rhythmic base makes a small tribute to the greats of  house with fragments of the original tracks.”

4. Block & Crown – Drop the Beat (Original Mix)

“How to forget the great Modjo classic with the sampling of ‘Soup For One’ from the 80s hitmaker’s Nile Rodgers. I like this version because for me it is a kind of justice for the original sampling in a certain way.”

5. Superlover, Simion – Funky People (Phil Weeks Ghetto Dub)

“I really enjoy the bass, takes me to those times of the late ’70s and early ’80s, when disco music was in one of its best moments.”

6. Todd Edwards, Pete Tong, Jules Buckley, HER-O – Go Crazy (The Life & Soul Project Remix)

“A song that, for me, has everything! High level of production.”

7. Harry Romero – Revolution (Deep In Jersey Extended Mix)

“The sampling of the voices does not stop me from dancing and the bass notes that go into anachronism and remain at that time. It’s super good!”

8. Giovanna – Dreamworld (Tom Demac Remix)

“Wow! This track is one of those that you want to play when you want to close your night with good vibes, smiles and thank everyone who danced with you.”

9.  Van She Tech – Starchild (Extended Mix)

“The modulations of the synths until they reach the break are really great, they give you the feeling that it will explode more and no, it returns you to that sticky groove.”

10. Dompe – Space Mountain (Original Mix)

“The artist combined the super funky guitars very well. Excellent track for those who go more for the funky house line”,
