A weekend at Brunch Electronik Festival Barcelona

Brunch Electronik Festival returned to Barcelona’s Parc del Fòrum from August 7th to 9th, 2026, for its fourth edition. The three-day event featured more than 100 artists alongside redesigned stages, upgraded production, and new measures focused on accessibility, comfort, and sustainability.

We arrived on the first day and headed straight to Marron, smooth, clean techno from a genuinely cool guy. Mau P followed; fun, upbeat, solid technique, a bit commercial, but the crowd was fully into it.  From there we caught Kevin de Vries, who brought his melodic vibes with a loud sound.

Then we moved to the Rhythmik stage in time for the tail end of Shanti Celeste, nice and groovy, before Seth Troxler took over. The style shift was immediate and unmistakable,  groovy and solid, with a subtle Afro/Latin house influence that stayed classy during his whole set.

Last, the master himself: Jeff Mills. He brought out the 909 and showed how he uses it. Raw, hypnotic, industrial techno from a true master of the craft.

We closed with Jamie Jones, the highlight of the day. Groovy, back-to-basics house from a real pro. Fun, energetic, reliable, with a full dancefloor that stayed till the end of the first date.

After a much-needed rest, we kicked off the second day at Rhythmik with Yu Su, who completely set the vibe for the rest of the day. She delivered some seriously trippy, acid-leaning techno at a level only she can reach, a perfectly curated sunset slot, and a deeply satisfying way to get the groove going.

Acid Arab absolutely stole the show. The energy was completely off the charts, and the crowd lost their minds. Seeing a Palestine flag flying during the set was a powerful, important moment on the dancefloor. It was pure fun from start to finish, boasting a level of mastery that made it my personal favourite set of the festival.

Over on the Harmonik stage, where the masses gathered, AMÉMÉ, followed by Âme b2b Trikk, was the main draw. They delivered a competent set built on that familiar, safe Innervisions sound, but didn’t really bring anything new to the table.

Chaos in the CBD took the closing duties at Rhythmik and left absolutely everything on the floor. Their set was crispy, jumpy, and properly fun – you could clearly see they were enjoying the ride just as much as the dancers. Absolute Banger!

With its gorgeous seaside location, great crowd energy, and an amazing mix of heavy techno and feel-good house music, Brunch Electronik delivered an unforgettable weekend in Barcelona. It is a festival that truly knows how to throw a party, leaving us completely exhausted, happy, and already counting down the days until next year.

Brunch Electronik Festival proved again why it’s a highlight of Barcelona’s summer events. Between the smooth seaside setting, great crowd energy, and a notable lineup, it delivered a weekend full of musical memories and new friends, leaving us exhausted (in the best possible way) and already waiting for next year’s edition.
