Zeb Samuels presents his ‘First Written’ video

This is the second single of his debut album.

Zeb Samuels is about to release his first LP entitled ‘Hope & Light’, coming out November 8th on Deep Heads.

Prior to the official date, the London born and based producer and multi-instrumentalist has presented the audiovisual piece of ‘First Written’. The track was produced by the artist himself and Joseph Marshall aka Faded Tapes, creating soundscapes of low-end frequencies, along with warm pads and a pulsing rhythm that fill the recording with an energy of tranquility. At the end, we hear the talents of Jeffery Cramer on a guitar solo.

‘Hope & Light’ brings Zeb Samuels on keys and synths, layered with his characteristic vocals. The LP touches multiple genres such as jazz, ambient and bass among the strongest elements. It is described “as an intense and insightful journey into the mind of an inspired multi-instrumentalist and musical fanatic”, that features exclusive collaborations with some of the standout artists and musicians he has worked with over the last decade. Some of the names included are Synkro (R&S Records), Escapism Refuge, Om unit (Metalheadz, Cosmic Bridge & Planet Mu), Ash Walker, pianist and composer Joe Armon Jones (Ezra Collective), drummer Mck Nasty (Kamaal Williams & Black Focus), and jazz trumpeter Byron Wallen.

Zeb’s music has already been supported on BBC Radio 6 Music, Clash Magazine, XLR8R, Kid Fonque’s 5FM, by Belgium Tastemaker Lefto, Soulection Radio’s Joe Kay, among others.
