Since opening in 1976, Amnesia has evolved in sync with the global dance scene, constantly innovating without losing sight of its roots. The Terrace’s original glass roof, installed in the 1990s, became a defining element of the club’s identity. This year, a new version of the roof made its debut, preserving the spirit of the original while incorporating cutting-edge audio engineering to deliver previously unimaginable clarity and depth across the dancefloor.

The result of a meticulous collaboration between Integral Sound, +Music, KV2 Audio, and Amnesia’s in-house team, the new system enhances every kick and melody with warmth, precision, and zero fatigue—even at extended club volumes. As George Stravo, founder of Integral Sound, commented: “Our mission was to ensure a next-level listening experience while giving DJs the tools to express their full artistic potential. This system doesn’t just reproduce sound—it becomes an extension of the performance itself.”

The impact was undeniable throughout the club’s nine-hour Opening Party. The vibe was electric across both the Main Room and the Terrace, powered by a lineup that delivered a flawless narrative from start to finish. The night reached its apex with a special closing back-to-back set from Dennis Cruz and Luciano, a moment that perfectly captured the spirit of the season.

The Terrace opened with Jan at 22:00, setting the tone with fresh grooves before Caal took over at 23:00. At midnight, HoneyLuv back-to-back Mar-T brought captivating rhythms to a packed floor. Josh Baker followed with his signature UK house sound, building toward Vintage Culture at 03:00, who took dancers on an emotional sonic trip. At 05:00, Seth Troxler stepped in with his unmistakable selections, pushing the energy into new territory.

As the sun rose, East End Dubs back-to-back Max Dean kept the dancefloor locked at 07:30, before handing over to Dennis Cruz back-to-back Luciano, who held the crowd deep into the day, closing the session with Diego Kraus’s ‘Manitu’—a perfect final note for the season opener.

Meanwhile, the Main Room offered a powerful journey of its own. Katnada opened with a driving warm-up, followed by Adiel, whose hypnotic set paved the way for a hybrid performance by Alan Fitzpatrick. Marco Faraone then took control, delivering dense textures and rolling grooves, before Adam Beyer brought a signature Drumcode session filled with heavy, melodic power, including his own anthem ‘Your Mind’.

Standout moments included a high-octane set from I Hate Models, and a peak-time live show from Reinier Zonneveld, who closed the Main Room at 09:30 in euphoric style.

From start to finish, Amnesia’s 2025 Opening Party stayed true to its legacy—uniting world-class production, visionary artists, and a euphoric crowd under one roof. With upgraded visuals, sound, and a lineup that delivered at every turn, the club set a high bar for the season ahead—and delivered a night to remember.
