Avalon Emerson has announced her latest musical venture, ‘Perpetual Emotion Machine,’ marking her debut release on Dead Oceans. The project launches with ‘Don’t Be Seen With Me,’ a reimagining of Oppenheimer Analysis’s 1982 classic.

‘Perpetual Emotion Machine’ bridges the gap between artist and audience through its dynamic, ever-evolving nature. Drawing from Emerson’s experiences as a DJ, the project weaves together original compositions, reimagined classics, and vocal performances into a fluid musical journey.

The announcement arrives during a prolific period for Emerson, who has been touring extensively with her 9000 Dreams party series across the UK and Europe in 2024. Her recent work includes a contribution to Mister Saturday Night’s 15th Anniversary Compilation and a compelling remix of Fever Ray’s ‘Carbon Dioxide.’
