Tbilisi-based queer music artist AVIVX has just unveiled his latest sonic outing with the drop of the ‘Dark Temple’ EP. The new record is already available on digital and vinyl formats via Electronic Emergencies / Clone, signaling the artist’s first vinyl pressing ever.
Interweaving melancholic Eastern vibes and melodies with pulsating, dense house-laced frames, AVIVX’s new ‘Dark Temple’ EP is a unique, energetic take on warm and uplifting trance that traverses time and space, showcasing the producer’s insatiable desire for exploration.
“A major influence for me is always space, sci-fi, futurism, and science which I grew up being obsessed with. I always envisioned making this type of futuristic and cosmic sound but with an eastern twist. Scandinavian space disco, Dutch trance, Belgian new beat, Chicago house, and Italo-disco all reverberate throughout my music.” explains AVIVX.
