Bedrock Records celebrates 200 digital releases

With remixes by Jonathan Kaspar.

Bedrock Records celebrates 200 digital releases as John Digweed and Nick Muir invite Jonathan Kaspar to remix two special tracks from their extensive catalog. The new drop is already available across all major digital platforms.

First up is Kaspar’s rendition of ‘Live Off The Grid’, which was released in 2014 as part of Digweed & Muir’s ‘Traveler’ album, a project on which the pair collaborated with anonymous science fiction writer John Twelve Hawks. In his remix,  the artist increases the tempo while plunging the vocals into dark depths, accompanied by powerful synths.

“Reflecting on Bedrock’s 200th digital release, I am so proud of the wide variety of music and artists the label features. I never wanted the label to have a specific sound, it’s always been about releasing great quality music and not jumping on the bandwagon. I have been a huge fan of Jonathan Kaspar for many years, and he was perfect to remix these two tracks. We have a great release schedule for the rest of 2022 with some exciting album projects,” said John Digweed about the historic release.

Kaspar’s second remix is ‘Stand Still’, providing a deep, nuanced cut, which further underpins Digweed & Muir’s synths with a gripping bassline, transforming the track into a much darker affair.
