Chinese-American artist Helang has unveiled her latest ‘Flashback’ EP which is now available via HE.SHE.THEY. Records.
The three-track release showcases Helang’s artistic maturity and technical mastery. It features the hypnotic title track ‘Flashback,’ the introspective ‘The Artist in Me,’ and the emotionally charged ‘On My Own.’
Helang’s artistic vision shines through in her personal reflection on the EP: “Ever since I was a kid I’ve found it difficult to follow rules, be micromanaged, conform to trends—the list goes on. Most of the time when writing music, all I can do is think about how to channel that energy into my craft. Personally, I just want my music to convey this message to my audience: it’s okay to live your life on your own terms, not how society tells you to.”
Helang has shared the stage with prominent artists like Amelie Lens and Eric Prydz at venues E1 and Teksupport NYE. She launched her own label Dauntless Records in 2023 and continues to receive strong industry support while pursuing her creative direction.
