George Absent ft. LAUD – Dreaming Reality – Savia Park

George Absent, one of the biggest names in Greece’s house and techno scene, delivers this five-track EP consisting of two original productions along with three distinct remixes of the EP’s first single, ‘Dreaming Reality’.

‘Dreaming Reality’ is a mystic deep house track with enough energy for big rooms while it still feels intimate enough to be played at an after-hours setting or in a dark and sweaty room. The track features singer Laud, who delivers catchy vocals and profound lyrics on top of a punchy kick and driving bassline, while crazy stab effects and melodic synth lines and pads come and go adding Absent’s signature dynamism in his productions.

Jon Lee (Titled Records, Seattle), Rybo (Desert Hearts, L.A.) and V-Cious (Quito, Ecuador) contribute to the collection with well-crafted remixes of ‘Dreaming Reality’.

Lee shakes things up a bit by adding a deep groovy acid vibe to the track, converting it into the perfect tune for a sunrise or sunset setting.

Rybo’s remix reflects the artist’s signature sound, with a powerful tech house production bound to shake up dance floors during peak times.

The third and last remix comes from V-Cious, who reworks the track into a deep techno production with throbbing synth arpeggios and impeccable energetic drums. The track also features a notorious long breakdown keen to drive listeners into a frenzy.

‘Live Forever’, the second original track in the EP, is a dark techno tune with engaging drum rhythms that progresses slowly and consistently while incorporating interesting and diverse elements such as stabs, trippy vocal samples and fx noises, once again adding the artist’s emblematic dynamic production to the track.

‘Dreaming Reality’ is an all-around EP with tunes for different moods and settings while conserving consistency in energy and quality productions across.
