Kate Simko & London Electronic Orchestra prepares “biggest show of the year” at Britain’s capital city

The event will be taking place on August 24th, 2017.

Following their genre-bending album on The Vinyl Factory label and a series of worldwide festival performances Kate Simko & London Electronic Orchestra prepares a show at one of the most iconic venues in London, The Jazz Cafe.

Described as the “Orchestra’s biggest show of the year in Britain’s capital city” the night will feature a quartet of harp, violin, and two cellos alongside Kate Simko on keyboards and vocalist Alex Marshall.

Their distinct sound places the beauty, texture and intricacies of classical instruments in front of a backdrop of organic, electronic productions, bringing a new perspective to both genres; meshing orchestral soundscapes and electronic music.

J-Felix will be opening with a DJ set, best known for his releases on Brighton’s Tru Thoughts label. Blending early trip-hop with all things funk, jazz and soul.
