Beyond their performances, Deherrera and Sanders are also the creative forces behind POPGANG Records, an independent dance music label established in 2013, which has released over 200 records across a wide array of genres and cultures.

Manics is scheduled to perform at Brunch Electronik! LA, presented by Minimal Effort and SBCLTR, on Saturday, July 6th, 2024,  alongside Colyn, DJ Harvey, Maya Jane Coles, Stavroz (Live), and Will Clarke. To celebrate, they have shared their top ten tracks currently on rotation.

1. Soulwax – NY Lipps (Dries Van Noten 2020 Rework)

“We’ve been playing a version of ‘NY Lipps’ in our sets for years. So when a new one popped up, we started playing this just to switch it up.”

2. Manics – Money

“This is one of our favorite tracks to DJ, it just happens to be one of ours.”

3. Phantoms – Perpetual Motion

“This new one from Phantoms invokes so many influences we love, from bloghouse to new wave and disco.”

4. Shubostar & TERR – Brave New World

“It’s like if Ladytron was more 80’s, but mixed for the club in 2024.”

5. Autoflower – Lovedruk

“Everything Autoflower has been making is amazing. This track is no different. Groovy, housey, but a little faster and oh so big.”

6. Class Fools – Some Nights

“UKG Blended with indie vocals. We’ve been loving this track for club sets.”

7. ID ID – Mean Electro

“Acid house, but make it weirder and groove.”

8. Chloé Caillet & Luke Alessi – 12 Inch Acid

“There’s this weird world where indie dance and trance are blending together. And we’re here for it!”

9. Coeo – Kawasaki Racing Club

“When the car sounds kick in, you know it’s about to get rowdy. This track is great for breaking things up, and keeping them going.”

10. Moontalk – Safety Dance

“One of our favorite flips we’ve heard in a long time. True to the original enough, but with impeccable production to make it work on big systems.”
