Musical duo Floorplan, composed of Robert and Lyric Hood, recently released their fourth studio album, ‘The Master’s Plan,’ under Luke Solomon’s label, Classic Music Company.

The LP features 18 diverse house and techno tracks, striking a balance between the lighter and darker elements of their sound. The pair hopes the album encourages listeners to dance and feel empowered during these challenging times. Robert Hood remarks, “In these troubled times, we are grateful to be able to share our music with the world. Especially the dance community. We hope this album will uplift and invoke you to dance.”

Recognized worldwide, Robert is a techno pioneer, and Lyric is expanding her solo work. Their generational differences influence their approach to electronic music, as noticeable in ‘The Master’s Plan.’ The album varies from the gospel-infused ‘We Give Thee Honour’ to the high-energy ‘Summa Funk,’ featuring Detroit vocalists like Dames Brown and Eunice Hood.

Label-mate Honey Dijon contributed her charm to ‘Fake & Unholy,’ and Luke Solomon praised Floorplan for their consistent quality in dancefloor music.
