The music world mourns the loss of Danielle Moore, the lead vocalist of Crazy P, who has died at the age of 52. The band shared the heartbreaking news earlier today, revealing that Moore passed away last week under sudden and tragic circumstances.

In a poignant message posted on social media, Crazy P expressed their devastation: “We are devastated to announce the unbelievable and shocking news that our beautiful Danielle Moore has died in sudden and tragic circumstances. This happened on Friday afternoon, August 30th.” They added, “We cannot believe the news ourselves, and we know it will be the same for all of you. She gave us so much, and we love her so much. Our hearts are broken.”

Born and raised in Manchester, Danielle Moore was a prominent figure in the UK dance music scene. As part of Crazy P for the past two decades, she became known as one of the genre’s most talented female vocalists.

Moore joined Crazy P in 2002 alongside bassist Tim Davies and percussionist Mav Kendricks. Together, they produced seven studio albums, infusing elements of house and disco into their music. The band gained international acclaim with hits like 2011’s ‘Eruption’ and 2015’s ‘Like A Fool.’

Following her passing, Crazy P released a heartfelt statement: “We need time to process that this has happened. Danielle lived a life driven by love, compassion, community, and music. She lived the biggest of lives. We will miss her with all our hearts.”
