Complete with dazzling visuals.
Iconic 90s software brand Winamp, a digital audio playback application used most commonly to rip MP3 files from CDs, is back on the desktops once again.
During its heyday, one of Winamp’s most attractive features was curating trippy visuals and skins that would change the appearance of applications.
Now, following a 4-year rework, Winamp 5.9 is currently available, including a more current codebase and new features, which are expected to be added after testing.
“The new Winamp connects you to your music wherever you are. It brings you closer to the artists you love. It’s home to your favourite music podcasts and radio stations”, can be read on Winamp’s website.
