Haus Catz, the DJ crew consisting of Alex Englegau (Tailspin), Rameau Velez (Pounces), and James Salban (DJ Purrplexed), has just unveiled its latest single, ‘One Try’. The new drop is the latest cut to see the light from their debut EP, ‘Club Nip, Vol. 1’, and is already available to stream and purchase across major digital platforms.
Blossoming over a sultry broken beat and psychedelic chords, ‘One Try’ finds the trio delivering an infectious, soulful vocal hook that sees the trio demanding “don’t bore us, get to the chorus” in a delightful manner.
“We want to express ourselves in a way that truly feels unique to us and what we have to say about our world and the human experience, as cheesy as that sounds. All the promotion, scene politics, and event planning that comes with DJing can sometimes feel like a chore, but the true creative headspace we enter when creating tracks really brings us back to what matters most: authenticity in our art,” explains Salban about Haus Catz’s musical outlook.
