Groove Armada just released their new EP, ‘Free Jam,’ as part of their partnership with Defected Records.

The ‘Free Jam’ EP  showcases Groove Armada’s expertise in creating compelling dance beats. The title track features soulful vocals from Kathy Brown, while ‘New Kind Of Drama’ mixes resonant synths with vocals from Slarta John, creating a vibrant club atmosphere.

The EP was created during a late-night house session in a Byron Bay hotel room, with ‘New Kind Of Drama’ inspired by the bass-heavy music of Brick Lane nights in the late 20th century.

Groove Armada, known for hits such as ‘At The River,’ ‘I See You Baby,’ and ‘Superstylin’,’ have made a lasting impact on the UK electronic music scene. Their partnership with Defected marks a significant moment as they continue to honor their sound’s culture and heritage.
