Romy, also known for her work with The xx band, has unveiled her newest single, ‘Always Forever’. Now accessible through Young, the cut is a mix of past and present.
‘Always Forever’ borrows elements from Donna Lewis’ beloved 1996 tune, ‘I Love You Always Forever’, while incorporating the innovative input of Fred again.., the co-producer of ‘Mid Air’. Together, they have crafted a delightful pop masterpiece.
In tandem with the launch of the single, Romy joined forces with esteemed director and filmmaker Charlotte Wells, known for her 2022 film Aftersun. The collaboration led to the creation of the music video for ‘Always Forever’, marking Wells’ debut in the realm of music videos.
Romy’s music career has been marked by a string of sold-out performances and the launch of her debut solo album, ‘Mid Air’. The LP has received recognition from high-profile award ceremonies, including nominations at the 2024 BRITs and Grammys.
