Amsterdam Producer 9T7 Announces Debut EP ‘On Intuition’, Shares Single ‘Modern Vintage’
Having established himself for his unique jazz-influenced electronica, Amsterdam-based producer and multi-instrumentalist 9T7 shares the new single ‘Modern Vintage’ (August 22nd), offering a taste of the radiant upcoming debut EP ‘On Intuition’ slated for release on October 3rd via Aviary Bridge Records.
Creating beautiful chilled electronic soundscapes that bring together organic textures with atmospheric lo-fi synths comparable to early Mura Masa, ‘Modern Vintage’ captures a unique blend of contemporary beats with classic influences, showcasing 9T7’s distinctive sound that draws inspiration from the Dutch and UK jazz scenes. produced by the renowned Tim van Aarst (Hatoon, HEF, and Laidback Luke featuring Mutya Buena of Sugababes), the track is built around swelling swirls of synth, a swinging beat, and bouncing, moving bassline, the track gradually introduces subtle shoegaze influenced guitar lines and bubbling arpeggiators which float in and out and add to the ethereal aura of the track.
