Roland has introduced the P-6, a new addition to their AIRA Compact series.

This portable device packs impressive features into a compact design. Powered by battery or USB-C, it offers versatile sampling options through a built-in mic, 3.5mm inputs, or smartphone connection—enabling flexible sound capture on-the-go.

At the heart of the P-6 are six dynamic sample pads with granular control over various parameters, allowing for detailed sound design. A built-in mini keyboard doubles as a sequencer, letting users easily create complex rhythms and melodies.

The P-6’s powerful granular sampler engine transforms simple sounds into complex soundscapes. Its 64-step sequencer with motion recording allows users to automate parameters and create intricate, evolving patterns, enhancing the device’s creative potential.

Versatile control options include onboard pads, MIDI keyboard connectivity, and DAW integration. Roland’s dedicated app for macOS and Windows simplifies sample management and editing.
