Dutch electronic duo ANOTR return with their latest single, ‘Care For You’, via their label, No Art. This is the fourth offering from their anticipated sophomore album, ‘On A Trip’, which lands on January 31st, 2025, and showcases the duo’s most experimental work to date.
‘Care For You’ blends alt-soul sensibilities with ANOTR’s signature electronic touch. Featuring lush electric guitar riffs, sweeping violin strings, and the duo’s own vocals, the track captures their bold dive into live instrumentation and vocal experimentation.
Written and recorded during a series of psychedelic creative retreats across Ibiza, Los Angeles, and the Netherlands, the ‘On A Trip’ LP reflects a profound period of artistic growth for ANOTR. Embracing the influence of micro-dosing psilocybin mushrooms, the duo unlocked fresh creative pathways, resulting in daring sonic ventures like the krautrock-inspired single ‘SET IT ON FIRE’. Throughout the album, themes of self-discovery and human connection take center stage, marking a significant evolution from their 2022 debut, ‘The Reset’.
“This is the scariest thing we’ve ever done music-wise,” ANOTR admit, “but we had a lot of fun doing it.”
In support of the album, ANOTR will embark on an extensive world tour starting in February, including a headline show at London’s iconic O2 Academy Brixton on February 8th, 2025.
