Emanuel Satie delivers a remix of DJ T.’s iconic track ‘Funk On You,’ released today on Get Physical Music. The remix celebrates their musical bond and showcases Satie’s growth.
The release marks a poetic return to the label that launched Satie’s international success. “My very first EP, ‘Gold EP,’ was released on Get Physical 11 years ago, and it launched my international career as an artist. DJ T., who was the A&R of the label back then, gave me feedback for months to perfect the tracks and the EP ended up being a big success.”
“Without the early trust and support of Get Physical and T., I probably wouldn’t be where I am now and I’m very happy to return to the label today, more than 10 years later, celebrating our journey together,” Satie reflects.
